Okay i know this probably is in the wrong section, but since most mods are in this section people in here probably will find this most interesting out of all the sections.
so if you purchased a fancy gaming mouse you most likely gotten a little box if weights to customize how heavy you mice is. so i was just sitting there one day and thought what can i do with the box, now that i got my mouse the right weight....

so did you do anything with your box?
now if i'm away from a computer or wall socket i can just pop into a shop buy a couple of AAs and charge my USB devices.
Circuit is based on the minty boost open hardware design by ladyada from adafruit industries.

tested:
supply's 700mA at 4v, or 500mA at 4.6v (depending on how drained your phone battery is it will draw different amount of current.)
under no load it regulates a nice 4.98v
compatible with all apple devices too
