I have this problem. The mouse is inside warranty (3-years). However what would be a replacement? I only paid £35 for this mouse looking at the online invoice. I want a corded USB mouse with at least 1 thumb button possibly DPI setting on the fly.

I replaced my G5 with this as the mouse feet had got into a shocking state but I couldn't give a photo of it to logitech as I'd removed the sticker from the bottom (due to something catching on the bottom).

I've had an issue with a razer mouse before which went on the blink and stopped tracking (it was a hybrid ball read by laser sensor IIRC deathadder).

So many to choose form.

If you like FPS games, how about a Corsair M60? I don't have one but I've used on briefly and been impressed.

- I've used a QPad 5K (Still have it). Big and comfy, no issues with it. The QPad OM-75 / Mionix Naos are similar in shape. I'd probably take the Naos over the Qpad.

- Also look up the Sensei Raw. The Sensei is a top grade mouse, might be worth having a look at the budget model.

- Had Roccat Kone. Real shame about build quality, it was a nice mouse, but too many issues with it. If you want something you can count on, avoid Roccat.
