I've had this keyboard for well over 10 years, it still works fine, besides some of the keys not feeling as responsive as they used to.

What are your recommendations for an upgrade?

Only thing I feel I need to have is the multimedia keys and a scroll wheel for volume control. As much as I enjoy having the screen on this keyboard, I can go without it.

What's the budget?

Nowadays most higher model keyboards are "mechanical", which means they produce lot more noise with few exceptions.
Also almost every one has higher profile if you're used to slimmer one.
Logitech's G815 would have one of the few mechanical swtitches minimizing unnecessary noise and also profile is very slim.

I'm not sure what's a reasonable price for a keyboard, I got lucky with my G510 when it came out and had it for £30 from a pricing error.

I guess I wouldn't want to spend more than £100, I don't mind some noise form the keys, but I don't want something obnoxious.

G815 might be out of the question due to price but the feel is nice plus low profile.

Might consider options from Steelseries or lower end Logitech variants? Stick to linear/tactile depending on the feel you want. I personally prefer tactile and even clicky but they can annoy people around you.
