Hey guys,

Finished setting up my G560 earlier on (had the Razer Leviathan system but space became an issue with my new monitor).

just a quick question regarding power..there is a BT and PWR button on the back right speaker..do I need to turn this off when I shut my system down?

Or is leaving it in a "idle" state with the RGB on OK to do so??

Oh wow, thats not good. I will keep an eye on them. So far they seem OK, not as good as the Leviathan if im honest but OK.

Thanks for the info, know what to look out for now! :)

well..so far so good. not had any issues yet, will leave as is (wont touch firmware), and hope it still functions in a few weeks time! :D

Yes my problem started after i updated the firmware. I was already using the logitech Ghub software on a previous firmware and it ran fine albeit the volume was abit all over the place at times. Updated to new firmware, much better volume control however it started to disconnect randomly without warning. RGB would go as well and some times not even come back on... Contacted logitech reps on reddit who were no help if im honest. There are quite a few people who are complaining about this firmware update, although it allowed subwoofer control and fixed some bugs, for a lot of us it also killed it with the random disconnect.

hmm, was thinking about downloading the software, but its OK atm, so I might leave it, incase it messes something up.

If you think the sound is okay and you don't need the software to configure the EQ and RGB then leave it. You can control some of that through windows anyway i think.

If you want adjustment of the Sub though you will need the Ghub software to adjust it.

yeah, it sounds pretty good tbh atm, so think I will leave it, the bass isnt overly powerfull so not desperate to adjust it, although it would have been nice.

I turn the RGB off anyways so thats a non issue atm too.

Thanks for the feedback Jay! :)

No probs mate, let me know if you run into issues. Just tag me as i did an immense amount of research before i inevitably ended up returning them.

Happy to help.

well..I now call on you good sir to update :D

Today, RIP for my G560's, turned the PC on and went to turn on the speakers anddd..nothing!

Returning for a refund, and going down the Edifier route also..

Gutted mate… i didn’t wanna jinx it :(

Careful if you get edifiers, the S350’s are good but hit and miss with some having faults like the high pitch squeal on 2 units i had!

The S360’s however are solid and no issues at all. I would get the S360’s over the S350’s for peace of mind. Unless you’re getting a completely different model than ignore what i just said .

Thanks Jay. I had a look but the more I thought about it, my horizontal space isnt the most because of my big monitor..so I just went for some Creative T40 Series II speakers..

They are bigger than I thought they would be, but, are "thinish" enough for my layout, and although not for the audiophile, they are OK for me, I just mainly wanted a half decent sound when my headphones are hung-up. :)

@Jay85 thanks for the upload Jay..yeah, would have been too wide, my Creative speakers have around 1cm each side to spare, so the Edifiers would have been too wide.

Yeah, just taking it easy on the volume atm to let them "settle in".

Do you still use your Creative's ? Or have you retired them?

Haha, yeah, there is a lot of gloss to cover :D

yeah, not going to lie..the G560 had a touch better bass, but it did have a subwoofer so can’t do apples to apples comparison, that wouldn’t be fair.

Yeah, a sub would be icing on the cake for sure.

so far, for the money I think they are great, just a wee bit lacking bass, but hey, like you said, they are 2.0

yeah, I seen a few reviews about the European editions having to have this sleep thing implemented as regulation or some bs, lol.

only one other thing now I think about it is the dials for power, bas and treble, can my mighty hard to turn I think initially, unless I’m just a weakling!
