Tryed to get it to work but just didnt like it,pitty as the matt feels very good, could it be that my Lazer dont like the surface?

does it need to mouse firmware upgrading ??

i had to on my g5 so i could use my icemat still

Just bought a G7 and having issues with it and my Steelpad S&S, have not bothered to install Set Point as i've read bad things about it. Does it help at all with these problems though?

I have never had any problems with the logitech drivers, great mouse just got to find the right mouse matt.

I said this. I don't think anyone believed me.
I'm a really low sensitivity player, and sometimes I have to really race my mouse across the table. The QPad just cannot keep up with me. Or the S&S Steelpad. Or the Black Icemat.

It's fine on my table though. Just a shame about the waste of money.
(Yeah I was too lazy to send it back)

When you find a good mousemat, be sure to update this thread :)

Download new drivers from the logitech website it fixes tracking issues with the G7

I've installed the latest SetPoint and now my G7 will work properly with my Steepad S&S however the effect isn't consistent. Whenever I change the battery pack and at other random times the "tracking" will resort back to how it was before the updated drivers were installed i.e. very choppy and little movement on the Steelpad. Placing it on my work top it works fine but it takes a reboot to get it to work with the Steelpad again. Very annoying.
