Hello :)

Anyone know where I can aquire this mouse in the UK? It seems to have vanished here, even the UK logitech site doesn't have it. So I check the US site and indeed it has the G7 listed there, but it seems to be coloured a greyish black rather than the aquamarine colour when it first came out. Was there some sort of fault with it or something?

In any case, I'm looking for a wireless laser mouse with speed adjustment buttons. Is their any alternative? I guess the Logitech revolution is a good choice, but it doesn't have any speed adjustment. :(

Regards,

It has been discontinued mate... The closest thing to it is a Logitech Revolution MX which isn't ideally a gaming mouse but is great still.

Oh I should have mentioned... I've got one for sale in the Members Market section :)

Well that sucks, lol. This G7 seemed almost perfect for my needs. I would get the Revolution but it seems a bit pricey and too clunky for gaming. Plus it doesn't have the realtime speed adjustment buttons, that features seems like it would be a godsend in BF2 (e.g. going from sniping to flying a chopper).

Also wired seems out of the question, once you go wireless you can't go back really.

In the Members Market I'm selling mine for £58 inc postage and its brand new

I love my G7 the speed adjustment is very handy. It glides effortlessly, the battery system is the best iv come across as well, takes me about a second to swap the battery now.

Any reason why you are selling?

I've read around and apparently there is some sort of design fault with the original G7 where the buttons stopped clicking after a bit. Hmmmm, suspicious.... :p

Lol, but thanks for letting me know, I'll look into it.

I'm selling my Revolution MX... because I went for a wired DeathAdder mouse for two reasons... it's half the price and I don't need wireless anymore. My Revolution MX is still sealed too!

think logitech had a lot of problems with people having defective G7's.

My G7 had this problem where the left click was always registering as a double click.

Logitech have sent me a free Revolution whch sould come next week :D

Although i have to say, the G7 was the best mouse ive ever had.

Thats a common fault, mine did the same. I got it back in june last year, it started playing up in April, so contacted Am**** and they said send it back. I gkot a refund plus the p+p to return it.

I got the black one from a marketplace seller. :)

As OCUK dont sell it i trust i can mention them?

Yeah, they had a lot of problems - my first G7 gave up the ghost after a couple of months. They replaced it and the new one has been fine! Although switching batteries so often can get a bit annoying, it's a great all round mouse.

So the new black G7 doesn't have the button fault, right?

I've seen the black G7s on the popular auction site, but they're refurbished and I don't sound the like of that. If only the Logitech Revolution had sensitivity adjustment, sigh. :(

i've got the darker green and silver one and its fine.

so i think its just luck tbh.

Get one with warranty in my view, then it can always go back.
