My mouse seems to double click a lot by accident even though i only click once a file will play or a folder will open even though i have only selected it. I have tired tweaking with the "mouse double click speed" in windows 7 to no avail; please advise. Drivers / software are up to date. Thanks

If drivers etc aint working, then it sounds like the faulty button that Dano mentions.
Had the same thing recently with a replacement MX Rev, which is not really something I expect from Logitech...........but their warranty service is usually top notch.

is there an way to troubleshoot the issue; i would hate returning it for ages and ending up getting the same one back because they say its not faulty.

Anyways how long do you think i would be without a mouse? Or do they send out a new one first?

Call logitech, they will:

a) Troubleshoot the issue.
b) Arrange a warranty replacement.
c) Be able to answer all your questions.

You will not get the same one back, I don't think I've ever heard of them actually attempting to repair a mouse, generally they ask for proof it's been destroyed or for you to post them the usb plug after you've cut it off.
