Are these any good? I may have made a potentially foolish impulse buy! I fancied a mechanical gaming keyboard and have cherry keyboards in the past (mx black) and I remember liking it but finding the actuation point not being ideal as well as the noise. Never used red or browns but believe the romer g switch to be similar to these... I thought I'd take a punt at £68, just hope I've not wasted my money and you guys turn around and tell me they suck!

Romer G is quieter than Cherry MX.
MX Silent is Cherry's switch with quieter noise than standard MX, but it's extremely rare.

In actuation point there isn't much difference, though Romer G has actuation point little higher.
And it's lighter to keep pressed down than MX Black if you have some running/crouching key to press in game.
MX Brown and Red have similar bottoming force.
Red just doesn't have much any resistance before actuation, while Brown is closer to Black in that part of force curve.

Thanks for the breakdown, that's actually a relief as I don't want anything remotely close to MX blacks! Sounds like it should be okay, might take a little getting used to.
