Logitech G9 or Microsoft Sidewinder ?

In market for new mouse as current mose is broke and out of warranty.

What you reckon about these ?

Logitech G9
Interchangeable grips and up to 3200dpi !!

cant say the g9 looks comfortable with the size of the left hand button.

of the 2 i'd go with the microsoft.

id go with a previous g series, g5 preferrably, but thats my preference as i like the shape

Was thinking the same. They don't appear to be out yet.
I guess I'll wait for reviews and/or a few people here pick them up.

Yeah..G5 is nice but I would like 2 side buttons and the G5 2007 is a terrible colour. Not that it matters much I suppose. Also had a G5 ages ago and found myself scrolling the mouse wheel instead of clicking. I think a few review sites commented on this. Was also considering the DeathAdder as it's the only Razer I find comfortable, but I hate their drivers. My friend has to remember what usb port he has it plugged into or it freezes or redetects and installs the drivers again.

the g5 07 i thought looked farrr cooler than the rusty look of the older g5

maybe thats just me

using an mx510 just now. also i think the G7 has more of a rubbery grip

deathadder, g9 looks pap uncomfortable and the sidewinder screams gimmick, time will tell

dunno why nobody's mentioned the G7, I love it!

A notable good part is the gun-magazine-style battery change, meaning you can never run out of batteries as there are 2 of them

Also the 0-lag and perfectly shaped grip helps

have a look at the new steelseries ikari mouse if it's gimicks you want

my personal vote goes to the razer deathadder

Am I the only person who likes the G9? I'm not sure I can justify the price as I'm not a hardcore gamer, but if I had buckets of spare cash just lying around I'd probably get it.

If only there was the mouse equivalent of a shoe shop where you could go and try the grips before you buy..

Out of those I'd go for the G9 or the deathadder for not one of those. The sidewinder is a joke.The Razer Lachesis looks killer, shame its not out for a month or so.

funny though that most professional gamers rarely use high end mice! most common mice of the proffesionals are the intelli 1.1 and the intelli 3.0! only recently has Fnatic started using the razer deathadder mice

They both look ugly and uncomfortable, I suppose you need to try them first but i'll be sticking with my G5.

I must admit to having my on the G9 as well, think it's due next month. Not seen that MS one before but a quick look at that product page has made me wan't to read more.
