arghhh. i went to make a cuppa after a great battle on BF1.. came back to my pc not powered on...
thought what the F!!! as i was ready to start next match!

i powered back on and it shown on monitor "USB device over current status detected will shut down in 15 seconds"

i went to unplug the external hard drive. still the same... unplugged my logitech g502. turned pc on... same message on monitor... last usb is the Logitech G910 ORION SPECTRUM and pc powered back to life!!!

plugged the keyboard usb in other port and POOF! pc shut down!

great!!! keyboard is only 2 months old. 32 hours of pc play in total... same for rest of my pc setup being 2 months old!

what can this be the cause?? i am using my wife's cheap Sumvision RGB Keyboard!!! And is plugged into same usb port as the g910.

Not spilled anything in keyboard or anything bad. Everything i own i look after it. I grew up with parents telling me 'if you look after your things, it'll look after you'

What happens if you plug the keyboard into another PC?

Probably got a short so will be worth contacting the retailer to get it replaced.

i contact Logitech. the staff asked me to uninstall software. then plug it in then wait for pc to reinstall driver. then reinstall software. it worked fine... ended the call... went back to pc half hour ago.. it went poof 15 mins ago... i am using the wifes keyboard right now. and emailed logitech to report that it happened again and i want a replacement. it isnt ideal a keyboard causing the pc to go in safe mode! i thank the person who thought to put a safeguard incase of over current triggering... protected my £3000 pc!!! i cant even play with this ****** keyboard! LOL its too close together! SUMVISION RGB MECH KEYBOARD!

i dont have another pc. just my wife;s laptop but she use it for her business and i darent plug it in incase it breaks her laptop and i will be cockless if it does! :D:D:D
