i use logitech drivers and running at 5200 dpi on low sensitivity but when i go in game it feels like it's at 5200 dpi with normal sensitivity, well forget that, it is at 5200 dpi, the mouse goes voom with a slighest nudge.

what can i do to stop this?

What do you mean low sensitivity? The mouse speed in Windows settings? You don't want to change that from 6/11, you'll skip pixels otherwise.

Lower the dpi, 5200 is a ridiculous amount. I don't know how you could have any sort of precision with that dpi.

no, logitech drivers have sensitivity option. you turn down sensitivity and increase dpi, mean't to be more accurate. surely thats the only reason why people would use high dpi unless they're have giant resolutions? i.e 5000^2 pixels? the mouse isn't fast or slow in windows but for some reaosn when i go in game, the mouse is REALLY fast.

EDIT: yes the logitech drivers interface changes the sensitive but just alters the sensitivty from windows mouse sensitivity in control panel.

EDIT again: well i guess i've answered my question, the game cursor is so fast because the sensitivity is set from the game not from windows so thus, you'll running from 5200 DPI on games sensitvity.

No, higher dpi doesn't equal better precision. That's marketing crap made up by Razer. In fact, their best mouse the Deathadder performs best at 1800 dpi in benchmarks, even though it can do 3500 dpi.

ha thanks, i should have checked up on what my friend said was true. i didn't buy the mouse for the dpi so thats cool, i got it to replace my deathadder and it's still a good pruchase.

cheers mate, i will happily return to normal dpi range :)

so just to get this straight. in the middle of the sensitivity. is that the ratio for 1:1 from the pixel movement from mouse to the actually movement on screen?

yeah, first thing i did was to turn off acceleration. thanks swif, did a lil research. yup 6/11 presuming starting @ 1 = 1:1 but in logitech it's 5 as it starts from 0.
