I'm looking at getting a G9X but I have a question about it. On my travels I've seen it elsewhere (obv can't post links) but there are 2 of them, one is a COD one and the other is the silver one. It's just the COD one is £30 cheaper than the silver one. Is there more than one version of the G9X? I thought there was just the G9 and then the G9X and the only difference between them was the DPI. I take it the COD one is an older model?

The CoD version is exactly the same as the standard. Get that version if it's cheaper, then buy a plain black G9x Comfort Grip, and you'll have yourself the exact same mouse.

Word of warning about this mouse, the scroll wheel button is stupidly stiff and hard to press. I ended up selling mine on just last week for this reason. Just putting that out there. It's a great mouse otherwise.

I got the COD one from the logitech site for £28 - it is exactly the same mouse, it's just the grips that are different which I don't use anyway, they are a bit bulky for my liking. The COD branding is just the grips which only cost £5 from logitech, you also get a free mouse pad with the cod version.
The scroll wheel button is stiff to press.
The COD one is the new model G9x

i have had 2x g9,s since they were released and would buy another tomorrow... good solid mouse..and love the middle mouse button as it has 3 functions.. push left , push right , push down . i however do not use the last option..as usually end up pushing the center wheel left or right ;)
