Logitech gaming software not working

Hello,

I have a new laptop and have installed the Logitech gaming software for my Logitech G700 mouse.

I can't get the buttons to do anything. Either a single key stroke or a macro, I have tried in Lineage 2 and Eve online so I assume it is the software. i have reinstalled and rebooted.

Can anyone help?

Is the Logitech software definitely running? Is there a G symbol in your tray?

Yes.

Edit: also, I am using Windows 8.

I have got it working, I had to untick profiles 2-5 at the top. You would have thought they would be ticked by default.
