Does anyone know if this keyboard can be used with a wire using Windows 7, rather than the bluetooth. Looking for a small form factor keyboard.

It has a USB Charging wire, but no input pass through. Could you not just keep the wire plugged in to keep it charged?

Also what is the reason for needing it wired?

Morning mate,

I was just unsure of bluetooth on a keyboard or any wireless keyboard, i do a small amount of gaming and didn't want any lag, which this keyboard might not be great at but I love the design.

I was hoping that keeping the wire in it would just work as a wired.

I cant find another keyboard like this, that's wired

i say go for k700 with mouse and keyboard in one. wireless of course.

Yes. I would suggest a non rechargeable, non backlit model.

The alkaline batteries in non rechargable models typically last 1 year, which imo is better if you're a gamer than having to recharge your keyboard before you can play.

I use a hp wireless elite keyboard which uses 2x aaa batteries, I would much rather buy new replacement batteries on the rare occasion I need to than messing about with recharge cables.
