I bought a second hand K830 keyboard.

It powers on and appears to be charged as the backlights work. I cannot get it to pair either using the unified receiver dongle on my pc, or with bluetooth to PC, phone or Steam Deck.

I cannot find a pairing option on the keyboard, like pressing F1 on my K380. I have tried FN & delete (delete shows 'pc' as the function) but that doesnt do anything.

Reading the manual, there is nothing about a pairing mode mentioned

I got it working with the unifying software and the dongle.
I wonder if it requires the dongle and cannot connect without it? Anyone got a K830 who can confirm if it supports bluetooth without the unifying dongle?

Problem sorted, there are two models. Bluetooth and dongle receiver connect only

Logitech has two models of the K830 but only one comes with Bluetooth – the K830 TV, not the K830 that only uses the Logitech Unifying USB receiver.

Or so I found when wanting to connect and older K830 I had to several Bluetooth devices – no cigar. Then I stumbled on a Logitech support page that made it clear.

To determine if your keyboard is the Bluetooth version, please check the icon on the del key.

The Bluetooth version displays the Bluetooth logo. The original K830 keyboard displays the PC power. You can read GadgetGuy’s review of the original
