I've been using a Logitech MX700 bluetooth mouse/keyboard combo. Today I opened the PC up to install a new HDD and when I turned it back on they had suddenly stopped working completely and I don't know why!
- The cradle/bluetooth receiver is plugged in and receiving current (charging light comeson when I plug the mouse in
- I've tried 4 different USB ports and it made no difference, and my USB webcam works just fine, so it's not the ports
- batterd old wired PS2 kb and mouse work just fine
- Both mouse and keyboard's batteries are charged
I didn't fiddle with any cables nor made any hardware changes - didn't even install thje extra HDD cause I couldn't find the screws. All I did was give it a dusting (no static-charged dusting cloths were used) and turn it back on. Hadn'teven unplugged the Bluetooth cradle/receiver, it justdecided to stop. HELP1!!

I would remove the connections and then plug them back in and try again.
If that doesnt work then try installing the drivers again (if it has specific drivers)
If not the above then reformat.
This will sort the problem out if it is software related. If that doesnt work then RMA to logitech. My MX900 mouse died not so long a go and they sending me a new dinovo!
Logitech customer service is 10/10!

This is getting stranger and stranger... I followed the advice on http://logitech-en-emea.custhelp.co...y5zZWFyY2hfbmwmcF9wYWdlPTE*&p_li=&p_topview=1 and they both started working normally... but then stopped again 5' later!!! I went through the process again after a reset and (yet again) swapping the receiver to another USB port, and now they both seem ok, 10' so far and they haven't died yet...
All I can say is
If it keeps doing it I'll start suspecting a faulty receiver and RMA to Logitech.
