logitech keyboard not working with bios?

my logitech g510 does not work in my bios? i have a g15 and and razer (somthing) that work in the bios, but not the g510, just phoned logitech support center and they said that i needed to update my bios? is this ture? and how would i go about doing this?

You may need an old ps2 kb to get into bios and enable USB kb support. Stupid but there is/was a lot of boards that have it disabled by default

ok giving that a try now, but other usb keyboards work
