hey guys,

i'd quite like to get hold of a logitech lap adapter/attachment for using my DFP in the front room, there was even a slip of paper in with the DFP which says "for a lap attachment go to www.logitech.com/lapattachment" and the page doesn't exist, and googling for it brings up nothing either...

is it a mythical bit of kit?

if anyone knows how you would get hold of one, i'd much appreciate the heads up ;)

since posting the original message, i've actually read enough bad reviews to put me off it altogether...

i just can't seem to find a really good solution to using a wheel in your front room (i.e. a room without a desk)

in an ideal world everyone would have a playseat, but alas it aint an ideal world and even if we had the space (which we dont) i couldn't justify such cash for just one genre of gaming... would prefer to spend it on my real car if you know what i mean...

right now i own a Supido Hyper Drive Portable Racing Seat (a google search will show you what it is) and although it does the job there is too much movement left and right, its better than nothing, but its not ideal...

might have to have a look in ikea for a fold up desk or summat...

Ikea for a fold up desk is the way, exactly what i did and it works brilliantly, can pack it away behind the sofa in less than 5 mins too.

do you know the name of the one you got? wanna make sure the one i get is sturdy enough and if its good for you then i'll take your word for it :)

Unfortunately i left it at my parents house after easter as they own a HDTV whereas i am forced to use my monitor for ps3 (no need for a fold out table due to desk) and won't be going back there for a good month or so, and can't remember the name offhand. However it looks pretty much identical to:

but i bought it by itself, not in a 2-pack.

I didn't bother to look for stability tho, this table is as light as a feather and it's fine. The reason for this is that when you throw the wheel around a tight corner you're also forcing it downwards somewhat so it doesn't move. Just make sure it's the right height for you and it should be fine.

Sorry i couldn't have been more help, let me know how it turns out.
