Logitech M570: Is it possible to assign macros to buttons?

Before I grab an M570 is it possible to assign a macro (or script) to a button using the set point software?

I see it mentioned regularly with Logitech gaming mice but not the M series. I'm specifically wanting to be able to toggle two of the buttons for cad use.

As it uses Logitech Setpoint drivers and not the Logitech Gaming Software drivers then I highly doubt it will give you the macro ability that comes in LGS.
