Logitech Mice

Hi all

Probably a million threads about these mice, I just haven't searched.

Currently I have this mouse...

I would like a new one, but I am unsure on which to get.
The choices are...
1) Logitech MX518
or
2) Logitech G5

The mouse would be used for a lot of gaming such as CS:S and BF2.

I like the freedom of my current mouse at the minute because its wireless so I am unsure if I will be restricted because of the wire on the new mouse but I have read all over that wired mice are better for gaming.

The MX518 I have found for £27.99 delivered and the G5 I have found the cheapest for £42 delivered.

Just not sure which to get, they both have on the fly sensitivity, the G5 has 2000dpi compared to MX518 1600dpi, not really bothered about that but I am unsure if I should spend another £12 or so in order to get the G5 with the laser movement detection?

I've had the MX518 since it first came out and it is excellent. I switched to a G5 a couple of weeks ago, and although this is very good aswell, i don't like it as much as the MX518 - especially for gaming....
