Logitech Momo on 360?

It may work but there wont be any force feedback. MS are a pain in the butt with their tech and third parties ATM.

How is it MS to blame? the fact Logitech has released a 360 wheel rather than get the Momo supported suggests they want to make money rather than enabling the Momo on the 360, plus if they enable the Momo then it enables the DFP, a wheel Sony would not be too happy about being used on a 360 :D

Some people really just blame MS for everything  without any foundation....

the foundation is basically MS will not approve anyone else a license to prodice a FF wheel, there are far far better quality wheels out there but MS decided to implement FF a completly different way to the PC market so no chance of 3rd party wheels working, anyone who has compared the G25 on a PC to the MS effort would agree the G25 is in a different league

I'm sure the Mad Catz and Logitech wheels for the 360 have FF, and Forza developers were in talks to get the G25 working with that game but they stalled but its something they are still willing to try and make happen. And yes the G25 is in a different league, so is it's price :-)

neither the madcats or logitec wheels have force feedback, only rumble and a big spring to return the wheel to center. the ms wheel is the only one that does FFB on the 360

no it isn't, it's their way of confusing stupid people into thinking it has force feedback. it has rumble and a spring ;)

The DriveFX's sole gimmick, axial feedback, does a what Logitech says it will do: it provides a fairly authentic reproduction of what a steering wheel feels like while travelling rapidly and over varying road surfaces and mimics the sensation of a steering column vibrating under appropriate circumstances. It's not the wheel's top selling point, but it is an interesting alternative to standard force feedback.

Find that hard to believe, I was testing them both yesterday before buying the MS wheel, but for feedback they both felt identical, the MS wheel was a bit stronger but the effects were more or less the same in Forza2, why did your mate by the Logitech one? is he one of the fools you refer too? surely you should have told him about this...nice mate you are :p

Why would I listen to some name on a forum when I have been to the shop and tested both back to back on the same game? your opinion aint that strong :D Seriously I felt not a lot of difference, now if you cannot accept that then sorry, not my fault is it. And I find it hard to believe you have tested both or you would have noticed this yourself, what game did you try the Logitech with by the way?

used it on pgr3

i was trying to find some more reviews about this wheel, but there is not a lot about it on the web.

it appears it converts the rumble signals from the 360 and applies some sort of force feedback from that, but it doesn't utilize the proper FFB signals as the official wheel does.

when i used it it felt like my old ps1 wheel with added rumble effects.

whatever, it seems you made the right choice anyway and bought a "proper" force feedback wheel :)
