Sometimes the mouse wheel just stops working on my vx revolution, I spin it round and round and it doesn't register, then after a few seconds it starts working again, as if it was stuck, what is it with logitech and scroll wheels? I have seen so many logitech mice with scrolling problems it's beyond belief. On my last mouse the wheel became increasing difficult to move over time and then stopped moving at all, it looked as if the rubber scroll wheel had become deformed.

If it was a wireless problem I would have expected that there would be other problems, but the cursor works fine, I only bought the mouse a few months ago and already the paint has come off the side buttons and the scroll wheel also has scratches in the paint on the side of it, makes me lean towards poor construction quality if anything.

It could also be a software/driver issue, as my MX revolution works flawlessly in Windows with the latest drivers, however on Linux Ubuntu logitech drivers are not available and I get similar symptoms - but on a lower level.

i had a similar problem when I was on vista, and had setpoint installed. When i upgraded to W7, problem gone..lol, and I haven't installed setpoint yet to be on the safe side. Could be something to do with the software like racerboy says.
