Logitech MX Air

Hi, was just wondering about thoughts on this mouse. I've had a couple of Razers that both died just outside of warranty, but I have no complaints about their performance. I need a new mouse and although it looks a little gimmicky, I think it could be useful as I use my machine for watching TV, movies and listening to music. Any owners out there? Is it viable for gaming? I game much less these days, on my PC anyways. Can it be used for controlling my multimedia from say 25 feet or so without a direct line between mouse an PC?

Any comments much appreciated.

well, i'd heartily reccommend either the Logitech MX518 or the G5. And logitech's customer support is FANTASTIC!

Isn't the air like the Gyration mice, whereby you can move the cursor around by waving the thing in the air?

If so, they're great for presentations / demonstrations etc. but not really much use for a home computer.

I'd go with one of the other Logitechs, such as the previously mentioned MX518.
