I have just bought a new logitech dinovo keyboard and media pad and mx mouse, while the keyboard and media pad seem great, the mx mouse appears to be a peace of crap, and just locks and freezes regularly for about 10-30 seconds, which is real pain especially in games. I have reverted mbacked to my old wired mouse. If anyone has any ideas, my only guess is another bluetooth device is clashing somehow with it.

any ideas?

My MS wireless mouse freezes when my old wireless logitech one is near it and has batteries in it, I presume its interference. Ah just realised you said your old mouse was a wired one! Although try turning off/unplugging any bluetooth devices other than the mouse!

moving the usb connector to a location closer to your mousing area might help...I remember I would get intermittent interference when the bluetooth usb reciever was in the back of my tower...but moving it up to my monitor seems to have fixed it

USe the PS2 to USB converter that should have come with the mouse.

PLus change the channel of the mouse.

My PC doesnt have a PS/2 connector its all USB, I am affraid I am going file the Mouse in the bin, and continue using my old 'reliable' optical mouse. :(

I had trouble with my old MX1000 when using USB also. It would generally work ok, but the mouse pointer would jump up half the screen instantly, and by it's own accord. Plugged it into PS/2 and it was fixed :)

I used to find that all sorts of things could affect the operation of my MX1000, including mobile phones etc. Try to remove any such sources of intereference from your desk.
