Logitech MX Master not re-pairing

I had to unplug my computer equipment for a couple of days. When I connected it all back up again my MX Master mouse was no longer working (with Windows 10). I tried recharging it, but it didn't help. I then went through the pairing process again with the unifying receiver:
- Turn on mouse
- Select channel
- Press Connect button
- Plug receiver into PC
...but the channel light just kept on blinking rapidly for a minute or two before going out.

Any idea how I can revive it?

I would try the receiver in a different USB port and perhaps reinstall the unifying software also with the latest version.

Thanks. I downloaded and ran the Logitech Unifying software (I hadn't previously installed it) and the mouse has finally made friends with the receiver :0)
