Anyone know if this mouse works if you don't have the CD? Mine is somewhere but I can't find it and my new PC arrives tomorrow. Just wondering if it works without the CD (aka the software) and if there's a download for said software anywhere.

Yep, plug and play but to get the best from it just download the drivers from Logitech directly 
It will work, windows loads basic drivers.
