Logitech MX Performance Mouse

Seriously I've had mine for a couple of years now, I find it very comfortable and accurate, battery life has decreased a little I guess but find with my usage I'm only charging it every 2-3 weeks, and the fact its microusb and cant be charged whilst using it is no biggy

I'd go for the Master largely on the basis that it's newer. I've got an MX Performance and it's decent enough, but I miss the auto-switching free-glide wheel from my MX Revolution. Battery life isn't exactly amazing either.

My battery life was awful on the MX with the rechargeable battery. I just use a duracell now and get 2-3 weeks a battery.

Man I've been looking top pick one of these up for a little while. However, this or the master?

When left button on my first Performance MX's started random double-clicks (seems to be a fairly common issue after a few years) I replaced it with another, as it was £49 rather than the £70+ that the Master MX was at the time, and there wasn't anywhere near enough in the Master to make it worth £20 more. I was chuffed enough with my first one that I bought another for work.

The Performance is a cracking mouse. I tend to keep mine connected to the charging cable unless I'm playing an FPS or something, and the battery doesn't seem any worse than it was when I got it (I'm sure it is, but it clearly doesn't deteriorate quickly).

It's good for games in the same way that a membrane keyboard is. A mechanical keyboard is a little better (see a wired dedicated gaming mouse) but a membrane keyboard (see a high end wireless mouse) is perfectly capable.

Thank you for the input. I think this has me leaning more on the Performance as the gains you get for the Master aren't worth the price premium.

On your notes of gaming mice and whatnot... I personally feel that whatever you're the most comfortable with gives you the best performance. You can step up your game but if you hate the feel of a mechanical keyboard and you can't get along with it, I doubt anyone would improve :)
