Logitech MX Revolution Advanced Cordless Mouse

I said that until i got the G7 best gaming mouse ive had. :D

I bought a cordless keyboard (which funnily enough i found the other week covered in dust and now in skip) about 10 years ago.

I spent more time charging the thing than using it. The cordless bit never worked properly and i had to sit about 2 inches away from its sensor for it to be recognised, so basically, it might as well been corded.

For this honour, it cost me £100, plus £40 in chargers and batteries.

So, i hate cordless.

I do however realise things have changed, but still, im wary.

I only bought the mx518 about 2 months ago for £35, and i'm well pleased, so i dont think i need another mouse for a few year yet.

Looks more like a comfortable very long use mouse rather than a gaming mouse.

i did, then went back to wired with the mx518. dont regret it at all.

My next mouse will also be wired (currently have the MX1000). Wireless still has that slight feel of it not being completley attached to the PC (virtually).

When I use my brothers mouse (MX510) I notice that millisecond difference between signal transfer times on my MX1000 and his MX510.

Best gaming rats are the MX510/518 imo. Configurable buttons and they've just got a good feel to it. None of this 'weights' garbage either.

I'd love that thing if it was cabled and didn't have the side scrollwheel. Until then, MX518 for me too, the only regret I have with it is that the Logitech logo is starting to wear around the edges :)

Yep, made by a company called Func Industries,

Its a lovely looking mat :)

There is no reason not to use cordless these days, I have an MX 700 and it is great, this is no lower DPI than my MX700 which is flawless in all games, it looks better but I am not 100% sure on the side wheel. If you can change it to Zoom in games though it sounds useful.

I will need to play with one before I part with £60 though.

Why oh why can't gaming mice look as good as that?? Seriously, does anyone else think that all Logitech and Razer gaming mice look stupid?
