Ok, you might think this is a silly post or that I am just being pedantic but hear me out. I have a MX3100 Cordless Desktop and am interested in the MX Revolution mouse, but ideally would like to be able to use the existing base I have for the keyboard/mouse (have to keep the base anyway for the keyboard) and not use the MX revolution one. I am assuming this would work as it uses the same wireless tech? My problem/question comes in the point that does anyone think the MX Revolution would actually fit in the old mx1000 charger base? If it did fit do you think the contacts would line up properly? I know it would be kind of hard to tell without having the mouse/base and trying it but I thought I was ask anyway.
