Hi,

is anyone using this mouse on there mac ?

i have installed the LLC from logitech but it come up with "no device found"
i can use the mouse but i can only use the apple mouse control which has little effect, i have also tried steer mouse but it stops the free spin mode on the mouse which i can't live without.

any ideas ?

Not had any problems with the mouse since I bought mine ages ago!
Tried a different USB port? I just plugged mine in, installed app and not had any problems!

LLC uninstalled then installed again rebooted and still the same "No device found"

steer mouse would not let me use the free spin mode

Did you try the LLC Connection utility as well as the Logitech control centre? I have the mouse and it works fine.

yep, is this the one where you have to hold the left mouse button then click five times on the right ?
if yes then i have done that a few times

if only i had seen this when i looked at the steer mouse website

You can choose between different scroll wheel modes. Enter the following command in the Terminal application which is located in /Applications/Utilities and press the return key and finally, relogin your account.

defaults write jp.plentycom.SteerMouse LOGITECH_MX_REVOLUTION_WHEEL -int number

You can assign the following numbers:

-3 : Manual Shift.
-2 : Free-spin.
-1 : Click-to-click.
0-12: Automatic Shift. Smaller values reduce the timing for its shift.

Did you install the software from the cd or did you download it from the website. If you did it from the CD, do an update check. (it's located in Applications > Utilities).
