Logitech mx1000 clicking problem

Hi guys,

My MX1000 has developed an annoying, intermittent problem. When clicking on something the mouse double clicks instead, this causes duplicate thread creations, or if I click New Posts it think's I'm clicking on it twice etc.

Is this a common issue people have come across? Anything I can do with it? No visibile places to clean if it's getting stuck and it is very intermittent.

If it's in warranty contact Logitech otherwise see if you fix it yourself:

it seems to be the os, i know inwindows xp for definate there was an option that if you clicked once it would click twice, have a look in the controll panel, ill try find a picture of it tommorrow if you cant find it,

Cheers, I have no idea why I called it a 1000 neither, it's a MX Revolution. Love this mouse

I think I must have had it about 4 years too so doubt it will still be in warranty. Might have a go at fixing possibly, I'm 99% it's not a OS problem tbh.

Yeah I have one as well, they only have 3 years warranty but are a great mice.
