Since the mx1000 mouse Im really struggling to find another mouse as good,, I have had the G5 and the Performance MX mice, but I still cant find another mouse as comfortable to hold and button placement as the MX1000. If I could find one with the same shape Id be half way there.

So do you guys know of any decent or upcoming wireless mice that's the same shape to the mx1000? With the performance MX mouse I have at the moment, its too long and you hand slips down the mouse, plus when Im rolling the mouse wheel my finger tends to slip off it sideways, as if the wheel isnt positioned correctly for your finger:confused:

I went from MX1000 to Mamba. IMO the Mamba shape is better. DeathAdder has the same shape for less price. Not to mention is a TON more responsive wired at 500Hz.

MX1000 was the best mouse ever made.

I've had something like 6 or 7 different mice since mine finally failed and they have all either been complete junk (Razer, Microsoft, Cyborg) or they have fallen to bits in 5 minutes (Logitech performance MX, Roccat Kone+)
I bought a Corsair vengeance M65 last week and it so far seems better built than anything I've had since the MX1000.

Maybe give the G700 a try, personally I've had no issues with the Performance MX.

Yeah I might try the g700 next as the shape looks quite similar to the mx1000, not sure about all those buttons tho

Im going to ask around in computer shops and see if they hav any old stock of the mx1000, then if I ever do find any, Im going to get 3 or 4 of the things.. But Im guessing theres slim chance of finding any

So basically I need to find another decent wireless mouse that doesn't cost the earth, or failing that go back in time about 7yrs:D

I just had a replacement from logitech cos my performance mx was double clicking.. I also said to them, that they should release a mx1000 version 2 and just add a hyper scroll wheel, but keep everything else the same, shape, button layout and charge cradle. As quite a few ppl think its the best mouse ever made.

So if you see another mx1000 or one that looks like the 1000 from logitech thats released, please thank me:). Also They told me that they will be releasing some new mice in the near future. So that might be good news for me.
