I've got a fairly new build, and have been using this mouse with it since I built it.

Over the last week or so the mouse has started freezing, I have had to either press the reset button on the base of it or remove the USB connection on the reciever from the computer and put it back in.

I am using Vista Ultimate.

Anyone any ideas why this would be happening?

Thanks.

I agree, I've had that mouse since it came out, and with the receiver in certain positions on my desk, it does exactly what youve described. Worth a shot, just to check that it isnt what's happening to yours? Good luck :)

I didn't realise how much it would affect it!

Just moved it to the other end of my desk and it didn't like it at all! - Have now moved it, fingers crossed!! ;)

Right, I've moved the recieved next to my mouse mat to see if that resolves this issue, and it doesn't.

Is there anyway that I can chage the frequency that the mouse transmits to the reciever or anything similar?

Thanks

I've moved the reciever around, I've changed the USB ports - and removed and replaced it from the same port, still no joy.

I've downloaded SetPoint from the sigh yesterday, version 4.24.99 so I am guessing that this is the latest one. I'd be suprised if the mouse has had it, mid I have had it for nearly 2 years.

Well fingers crossed that this is now sorted, hasn't happened for about 5 hours now, so fingers crossed.

I've had to move the reciever really close to the mousemat mind, which seems to have defeated the object of having a wireless mouse!
