logitech MX3000 usb / ps2 probs

hi all can you help i have just got another base unit it only supports usb mouse/keyboard
but my mx3000 has a usb for the keyboard and a ps2 for the mouse is there any way around this?

you can get ps2 to usb, for like 99p but only if the mouse or keyboard supports it

i have got one that does it usb to ps2 but not the other way around didn't know you could get them to go the other way lol
