Just received my new keyboard and mouse today, the Logitech MX3200, the keyboard is really nice to type on with very nice feedback on the keys, my previous keyboard was a Microsoft Internet Keyboard and therefore it was quite noisy when typing, this one is almost silent, like a laptop keyboard but with full size keys, the keyboard is smaller than the Microsoft one and so the layout is slightly different, which is causing me some minor problems at the moment with typo's but I will adjust to it given time.
The mouse is quite small but it fits perfectly in my hand, its quite light and pretty responsive, it feels a little different to the Microsoft Explorer that it replaced, I don't know if this is because the dpi is more or less than the wired Explorer. You get additional buttons on the mouse for zooming, going backwards and forward on web pages, and a scroll wheel that tilts left and right, but seems a little awkward to simply press straight down, the scroll wheel is also I little noisy when scrolling in one direction but no the other. The laser on the mouse is invisible so there's no red glow like I had on my other mouse.
I'm currently using the set without the Logitech drivers, I've only plugged the dongle in and the mouse and keyboard began to work, certain media keys do work but the extended functionality won't until I install them. There are no indicators on the keyboard to show whether you have caps, scroll or num lock turned on but I can't see that being a major problem to me.
I'd give it a 9 out of 10 based on the set only costing me £30, if I had to pay full price (£60) I would mark it down to 8 out of 10 based on the minor niggles above.
