I've recently been getting back into gaming and playing a lot of cs-go.

I've had my mx510 for years now, cant remember how many but it's been a long time.

While the mouse is still working great and was once considered an excellent gaming mouse its starting to look a bit tatty but I'm not sure I'd benefit from an upgrade?

I only have a small budget and was looking at the Gigabyte M6900

It gets good reviews but is it a worthwhile upgrade over my mx510?

What do you guys think?

Keep the 510. Still got mine. Looks a bit tatty and I've tried to replace a dozen times and failed. You won't get better without a spending a small fortune and I've yet to find a nice replacement as good (wired and wireless)

I'd keep the mx510. There's no point spending a smallish amount of money on an upgrade if there is no guarantee that it will actually be better/more comfortable than your current mouse. Comfort is more important than aesthetics.

But if it is really really tatty then I would perhaps consider the Logitech g400s, which is very similar to the mx510.

cheers for the input guys.

The mouse still works great, I was just wondering if something newer would be an improvement but if not i'll keep it.
