Logitech MX518 icon disappearing

Hi ive had a Logitech MX518 mouse for the past day or so,the mouse icon keeps disappearing when im web browsing and the mouse is left idle for a few seconds?

Also when using the right mouse button menus the icon disappears also?

Surely this isnt normal ive installed the drivers for the mouse from the disk i received which clearly state Win 7 is compatible

I think i have sussed out the problem, i had old drivers installed,ive now installed up-to date drivers and all seems well
