Logitech MX518 - poor scrolling with mouse wheel.

Ive had this mouse a while and when using the wheel to scroll up and down web pages or in folders it takes 4 or 5 flicks of the wheel to get a movement, then 4 or 5 flicks again for a little more movement. I honestly cant remember whether its been like this all the time or whether its developed. Either way its doing my head in now.

I have the scroll setting set to 6 lines in the driver, I cant see what else to try.

Do you think its faulty ?
 
The default is three lines as thats what I'm on and no issue here.

Drop it back to that and if no joy remove drivers and install latest off Logitech website :)

Failing that, if it has become faulty give Logitech a ring, I'm sure it comes with a 3year warranty, and their customer service is excellent, they will send you a new one :)
