Short listed getting one of these mice, but there's no where I can go and handle them. So has anyone tried both and got an opinion? Safe to say both will awe me for performance as upgrading from Logitech MX310.

Planning to use with a Steelseries 4D or I-2 (glass) mouse mat, eventually.

There's a couple of pound difference, with the Logitech being slightly cheaper.

Prefer the idea of mouse stored settings of the Logitech, so no need to install mouse driver. And the rubber coating of the Deathadder.

ive got a logitech mx518 & a Razer Lachesis never used the deathadder but as you might already know the lachesis is still waiting on firmware to upgrade its performance as its very annouying, i went back to my logitech mx518 while i was going to wait for the lachesis updates but then noticed how bad mx518 is even after using the lachesis with its problems lol!!

personally i'd go with the deathadder, ive never used it but ive heard its better then the lachesis and one of the best.. or the copperhead?

still using my mx518 from release date think its a cracking little rodent cant see the point in spending so much on a mouse these days, if its just normal web browsering and other such things then no point if you do a lot of gaming then yea the razers are nice but spending a lot on a mouse will not make you a better player(not saying your rubbish by the way)

Gave the Copperhead to my mum as it was skipping all the time on a Razer Exact Mat. Bought the Death Adder and never had a skip in 4 months :). Absolutely great mouse however................. the Copperhead is totally symmetrical and on both sides there are rubber ridges which I use to grip with my pinkie and my thumb for a finger flicking experience. When I moved over to the DeathAdder it was painful on my hand for a day or two with having to try and finger flick with a mouse that is not designed for it like the Copperhead was. Saying that though, once those two horrible days passed I could kill the same with this bad boy like I could with the copperhead and this is from close multiple kills and long range headshots. On the fly sensitivity is great for close and longe range combat.

Even though I can still score as well with the Death Adder I feel as if it was shaped like the Copperhead that i would be that little bit quicker as I feel more accurate with the shape of the Copperhead. The laser skipping is too bad though and infuriates you when it's a hardware fault that gets you killed and not your lack of skill.

Ive only ever heard good things about the MX518. What is it that you dislike about it?
