Logitech MX700 Cordless Optical Mouse best mouse ever ?

I have used a Logitech MX700 Cordless Optical Mouse for many years and its always been far and away my favourite ....however I was wondering whats new in the mouse world to compare with it ?

I liked its design/chunkiness and featues
 
I use my Razer Naga. Love the Buttons 1-12 on the side. Can't play any MMO/RPG without them now. When I go to friend's houses for lan parties I always bring my trusty companion. :)
 
Logitech G700, it's like the MX but lighter, classier and more buttons :D

I've had 2 MX700's over the years, a couple of razer, a random cheapo, steelseries, another razer then this. Had this a good year now and still a huge fan (I actually couldn't play a certain popular mmo without it).
 
Nice mouse, hadn't seen that before.

Logitech G7 is very similar although its lacking a few of the buttons. I used it for years until it developed a fault with the lift off distance (it would keep tracking when you lifted it up).

I had the MX700 years ago.. my first gaming mouse i think. It was generally a good mouse but i had serious problems charging it in it's cradle.. the contact points got very hot and melted the plastic around the contacts on the mouse resulting it me cutting the deformed plastic so the it would have contact to charge.

Ever since then im not to keen on cradle charging and steer well away from it. You asked what mouse now is comparable. I would say the G700 it's wireless, gaming grade, lovely design, plenty of functions, and most important it charges via micro-usb cable it also can be used while charging. I'm happy with my G700 it's much much better than the MX700.
