I've recently noticed that my Logitech USB reciever/transmitter has terrible range. I've tried plugging it into the USB port on my Scout case and although it's raised up in the air I dont get a reliable signal from any more than about 1.5- 2 meters. The mouse buttons will become unresponsive and the movement seems sluggish and glitchy.

I've updated Setpoint, changed the batteries in both keyboard and mouse and dusted and cleaned the reciever but the problem persists.

Any idea what I can do to improve it, or do these recievers have a limited lifespan ? (I've had the cordless desktop Wave combo for around 2 years).

I RMA'd my MX620 Mouse for those exact problems.

Digging deep you can find out its inherent in a lot of their products.
Go to their site and request an RMA if its still in warranty (even if its not its worth kicking up a fuss) and see what happens then.

Even though you may not be, say you play in a clan and cant play properly with their products in that condition...worked for me, didnt even have to send off the mouse back.

Logitech customer support and warranty is very good. I think warranty on mice and keyboards is 3 years in which case they will probably replace it.

Id suggest either emailing them or calling them.
