logitech setpoint and vista ?

finally got myself a mx revolution mouse, upgrade from an aged mx510, and am wondering will i see any "real" benefits from popping setpoint software in vista ? Previous i had odd issues with games and accessing the extra buttons in game with setpoint installed, is why i ask. :rolleyes:

Install uBerOptions after for the ultimate extension.

I got some issues with games in Vista & XP.

For instance, in Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 it wouldn't let me use the Middle mouse button for some reason.

You need to tell the Logitech software to use the middle mouse as a "Generic Button"

To be honest, I am happy with the way that Windows uses the mouse and keyboard, and, when i get a bit more time, I am going to create a application to manage the rest of the buttons (media and other keys on my keyboard/mouse).
