I'm having this issue with the logitech mouse software, it always happens randomly and it doesn't matter if I format it happens again.

My performance mx mouse's programmable buttons stop working when I am web browsing, the basic functions still work so I can still use the mouse but the back/forward/application switch/zoom buttons stop working.

The only thing that fixes it is closing and restarting the software, this is doing my head in.

I am using the latest version of firefox and I'm on windows 7 64bit with sp1 installed.

Any ideas guys? Thanks.

I've got the same mouse and my wheel stops scrolling properly randomly. It seems to happen less now, but like you, have little choice but to kill the SetPoint process start SetPoint again.

This has happened across Windows 7 64-bit and Windows 8.

Now I come to think of it, I've got the same mouse (and an almost identical software setup) at home, and I can't remember it happening there.

After further testing its just the back and forward buttons that stop working, I read online to change these to generic button in the software. Its working fine so far.
