Basically I installed this for my MX518 today and didn't like the feel compared to Windows own driver/software. Uninstalled it, but still didn't feel right as before. Uninstalled from device manager and now it reckons to to be using MS driver but still doesn't feel right.

Is there a decent/trusted/free driver removal tool that has done the job for anyone?. Have to be careful because I do have Logitech gaming software installed too, for my DFGT.

thanks
joe

Once you've set it the mouse settings in the logitech software, it saves into the mouse firmware itself. You need to reinstall the logitech software and try return it to normal settings.

If it helps, for my G500, the software it came with had a checkbox which allowed me to set the OS native drivers for speed and acceleration. I also unticked angle snapping, speed to 10 and acceleration to 0. Hence the only thing that would affect the mouse would be the DPI sensitivity.

Thanks mate. I installed the latest version (as before) and realized there wasn't a tab for my mouse. Found out I had to go to an earlier (supported) version and now it seems ok. I will mess around with the settings though.

cheers.
