Hi there i have an mx510 mouse and the right mouse button has just recently died on me.....

Anybody dealt with logitech tech support before? are they any good?

im sure it came with a 3 year warranty, and im sure i havent had it for 3 years....reckon they can fix it for me ?

To add to the general Logitech endorsement, I had an MX700 mouse for just under a year then the charging cradle thing stopped working completely (no lights, nothing going on). I contacted them direct for a possible new cradle / repair and they sent me a complete set including a new mouse (they asked for the serial numbers only).

Customer service indeed. I was very surprised (sad verdict on regular customer service by most other people that we are shocked when it is good).

did u have to send them the broken mouse tho?

I used their tech support when I had trouble programming my Harmony remote, they got back to me within 24 hours :D

Having said that, I'm having a hell of a time getting them to replace my Z5500's with 5450's at the moment :(

tech support was great, my mx700 paint was fading away so i emailed them to see if they had a replacement mouse housing instead they told me to remove the battery cover and cut the usb cord off and returned it to them and in about a week i received a new mouse :o

i did manage to fix a new cord back onto the mouse so i had a spare just in case ;)

they have been dire for me. ive been having problems with my MX5000 since day one. (about 10 months ago) They keep saying try this, try that. they have only just offered to replace it with a MX1000, media elite keyboard and some z4 speakers.

one guy was trying to tell me that a logitech USB extension cable would work whereas the one i was using was causing problems.

glad other people had better luck though

Logitech customers services is SUPERB. They are up there with NEC/Mitsu when it comes to returns and sorting there customers out.
My story.
Bought a MOMO of Oc, had it 4 months had some probs with centreing. Rang Logitech in Amsterdam they took the serial number and then sent me out another complete wheel pedal set that arrived in 4 days.
Brilliant service, Brilliant company.

They are absolutely brilliant, I just rang them up, they are sending me a new mouse!

He almost sent me an mx518 as they where out of stock of the mx510 ;) but he managed to find an mx510! I shouldn't complain as it was brilliant customer service!

No they didn't ask for it and the mouse wasn't broken so I ended up with two working mice and one working cradle. All they asked for was the serial number and where I bought it.

I've been waiting at least a month for them to replace my broken MX1000 charging stand. Apparantely they don't have any stock, I'm tempted to call and say the mouse no longer works either to get them to send me a fully boxed MX1000 again...

Only good things with Logitech for me.

G5 mouse, side button stopped functioning, threw them an email, got one back asking for my address and serial number.

Received a new mouse 48 hours and an email asking me to cut off the USB plug from the faulty mouse and mail it to them.

I'm onto my 5th mx510 now & have had 2 of them replaced by logitech already for the same problem, the right mouse button failure. Well all I can say is that customer service is brilliant, they ask you lots of questions but really this is good customer relations. Atleast this time I'm not getting an mx510 I'm getting a nice mx518 ;) they actually gave me a choice.

logitech vs Razer= logitech all the way

Wahey, after about 7 weeks I finally get a replacement MX1000 set :p

I got a complete new mouse as they were out of replacement chargers, I bust one of the contacts on it by dropping a hard drive onto it, two mice with one charger that works, fine!
