Logitech Unifying Receiver - Firmware version?

I just got my replacement MX Master 3 recently and the unifying dongle that came with it is on a newer firmware than the one that came with my MX Keys:

I'm wondering what version others are on here and if anyone knows a way to update the firmware of the old one maybe? Logitech options has a firmware update button under the More Settings button for a device, but that simply checks connected device firmware, not the unifying dongle itself it by the looks of things.

Ah I should have mentioned that I already have had this installed as part of the Options package! With both dongles it says the firmware is up to date lol, which clearly is... interesting :cry:

Wonder if you need the latest version of the Unifying Software to get the latest firmware?

Still the same although interesting to note that the link inside Options to load Unifying Software loads an internal version which is out of date to the standalone Unifying Software that installs outside of Options. The external version let me update the firmware on my MX Keys for example just now!
