Logitech X-210 Upgrade

Just purchased a set of these speakers (http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=SP-050-LG&tool=3) and I've noticed they are a tad bass heavy and not being able to control the sub-woofer too is a tad annoying, anyone have any 'controllable' 2.1 speaker systems around £30/£40?

what about the Logitech X-230s?

Sorry mine were the 230's (were they any better than 210's bass wise ? - can you adjust etc?)..

ive got x230's and my sub has a dedicated volume dial on the side
admitedly i have to reach under my desk but its not too bad
the logitech z4 is quite good too but tbh i cant tell the difference between my friends z4 and my x230's apart from his allows you to change the subwoofer volume from a remote control(wired)
