can anyone tell me how i can extend the cable on the speakers i would like to extend the cable on the front left speaker.Is there extension cables that you can buy?

They're phono cables basically, so you'd want some phono extension cables, male to female. Just found some 3m ones on ebay for 99p + P&P - search for 'Twin Phono Extension Cable'.
They're generally for stereo deviced hence you get 2 leads glued together (red and white for left/right channels), but the 2 cables are identical and you can just pull the 2 wires apart and have 2 mono extension cables (the wires going from your sub to the sats are mono btw).
