Logitech Z-5500 cable extension (not speaker cable)

Does anyone know how I can extend the cable between the sub and the control unit as I want the sub at the other side of the room. The cable looks very similar to a VGA cable?

Yeah I used a VGA extension on mine.

edit: count the pins to make sure, but the extension I used had a pin missing (Makes no difference though)

is it a male to female extension that you need.

I tried this but I seem to loose my front right left channel for 5.1 sound when using the vga extension. Could this be the missing pin?

Anyone know if you can get a VGA extension without a missing pin?
