Hi,

I have a set of z-5500 speakers, and was using them this afternoon with my xbox 360 without a problem, turned them both off.

Came back this evening and the control unit didnt have its red standby glow to it. No power to it at all, took power cord out and back in, flicked switch on back of sub off/on, turned on/off at socket, tried a different socket, swapped fuse in plug, but still nothing? As if its getting no power?

Any thing else i could try?

Mattw:

There is also a fuse on the sub (I believe, there is one anyway on the 680s), see if that has blown, if so, simply email/phone Logitech Support, and ask them to send you one out, and you will have it in a day or two. :)

Any 4A fuse will proberbly work, my dad even put a 3A fuse into my Z5500's and it worked, just it would blow out at higher volume due to the fact it aint 4A

contact logi. they ship a fuse, Said fuse doesnt work, they send out a new set.

Also, i managed to fix my logis with a piece of metal instead of a fuse, but i wouldnt advise this :P

Susiquently I'm about to email logitech for a 3rd set. My second set blew too :/

Why the hell do so many Logitech sets blow or become defective? This shouldent be, especially from a big company like Logitech, its just giving them a bad name, am I lucky that mine are working perfectly? :s

Think its more to do with my room, and mixture of the rubbishy supplied fuse seen as 2 sets blew so close together. Third time lucky :) ?

CUstomer support is amazing though. So the gain the points back there.
Everything has faulty/not as good batches sometimes.
